The findings showed that student teachers who had previously had good experiences in a collaborative online course and had strong technological literacies for online learning, tended to perform better in online courses and particularly on collaborative tasks. Previous positive collaborative online learning experiences were also correlated with a strong sense of belonging to the group by the end of a course. The study concluded that lecturers teaching online collaborative courses should have strong technological literacies and experiences, and that student teachers should practice and gradually acquire skills for online collaborative learning across several courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seifert, T., &amp; Bar-Tal, S.
